Signature Flavors

"Years ago, my wife Kelly and I would take our young sons Benjamin and Jacob out strawberry picking each year.  We would pick extra to freeze and make jam later that season...at times it seemed like jelly sandwiches were the boys' sole diet!   It was a lot of fun and we got used to making jellies.

We always thought homemade gifts felt a little more special, so we started making extra jam around the holidays for the boys to give as gifts to their teachers and close friends.  One year Kelly's late grandmother Ruth Browneller mentioned how she loved orange marmalade.  After a little google research I gave it a go.  I'm pleased to say I got my grandmother-in-law's five star marmalade approval rating, and from that point on, I started adding more flavors and gifting to family and friends.

I honestly can't remember who said it or when, but someone mentioned they'd love to buy some of our jams to give as gifts.  That's how Jams of John came to fruition.  We're thankful for the help of family and friends and especially Denny Hummer  of the Bucknell SBDC  for making Jams of John LLC a reality!
